1817 II. Eliza1 Sherman, b. at Albany, N. Y., 17 July 1795; married at Wilton, Conn., by Rev. Sylvanus Haight, Congregational, 13 Nov. 1822, to Ezra Knapp, a hatter, born at Danbury, Conn., 18 July 1796, son of Henry and Elizabeth (Russell) Knapp. They settled at South Norwalk, Conn., and there died (she, 4 Feb. 1850; he, 18 Feb. 1872), and were buried. She was highly respected for her Christian virtues. 5872

1818 III Sarah Maria Gaylord, b. in Wilton, Conn., 24 Sept. 1812; married at Wilton, by Rev. Sylvanus Haight, Congregational, 16 Oct. 1831, to Charles Augustus Davenport,2 a farmer, son of Samuel and Susan (Betts) Davenport, of Wilton, formerly of North Stamford, Conn., where he was born, 26 Aug. 1812. They settled in Wilton, where he died, 5 Oct. 1853, and where she lived in Nov. 1874. 5878

1819 I. Rebecca Marvin Fitch, b. at Norwalk, Conn., 1 March 1798; married at Norwalk, by Rev. Levi Dikeman, Baptist, 2 Ap. 1818, to Elias Dann, a maker of boots and shoes and dealer in dry goods, born in South Salem, N. Y., 20 May 1797, son of Abraham and Huldah (Beers) Dann. After dwelling, for several years, in New Canaan, Conn., they removed, in Oct. 1823, to Henrietta, N. Y.; in March 1836, to Byron, N. Y.; in Ap. 1846, to Crystal Lake, Ill.; and, in 1868, to Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. 5881
1820 II. Daniel Fitch, b. at Norwalk, Conn., 2 Ap. 1799; a farmer; married at Wilton, Conn., by Rev. Charles Smith, Episcopal, 15 Sept. 1822, to Sarah Fitch, dau. of Zechariah Whitman and Sarah (Gregory) Fitch, of Wilton, where she was born 14 Sept. 1800. He was living at Norwalk in Sept 1874. 5883
1821 III. Angeline Fitch, b. at Norwalk, Conn., 14 March 1801; married by Rev. Mr. Eaton, Congregational, 2 Ap. 1822, to Hugh McLean, who was born 22 Nov. 1799. They dwelt, in 1868, at "South Bend, Michigan." He was dead in 1874; and she was living at Eel River, Cal. 5892
1822 IV. Edwin Fitch, b. at Norwalk, Conn., 1 Nov. 1802; died, 1 Oct. 1804, in Norwalk, and was there buried, in the "down-town cemetery."
