1899 IV. Maria Louisa Whitney, b. at 27 Ann Street, New York City, 29 May 1822; married, 31 May 1846, in Norwalk, Conn., by Rev. Edwin Hall, D.D., pastor of the Congregational Church in Norwalk, to William Chappell Adams, a cabinet-maker, born in Danbury, Conn., 20 Aug. 1812, son of Hiram and Julia (Chappell) Adams. They have lived in Norwalk since their marriage, except one year passed in Danbury, from 1 Ap. 1856 to 1 Ap. 1857. 6106
1900 V. Myra Emeline Whitney, b. 26 June 1826, in Norwalk, Conn., where she was married, 1 June 1845, by Rev. Edwin Hall, D.D., pastor of the Congregational Church, to George Gilbert Pennoyer, a hatter, born in Bethel, Conn., 1 June 1823, son of Rodney and Harriet (Barnum) Pennoyer. He died, 6 July 1860, of small-pox, in Orange, N.J., and was buried there. She died, 9 Feb. 1866, at Norwalk, and was buried in Norwalk Cemetery. 6116

Horace Gardiner Hyatt, b. in Division Street, New York City, 1 Feb. 1819; a carpenter; married in Norwalk, Conn., 14 Oct. 1840, Mary Elizabeth Durand, dau. of Hiram and Elizabeth (Seeley) Durand, of Norwalk, formerly of New York, where she was born, 17 Sept. 1819. They were living, in 1874, at South Norwalk, Conn. 6119
1902 II. Mary Esther Hyatt, b. in New York City, 29 sept. 1820; lived at Norwalk, Conn., in Nov. 1874, unmarried.
1903 III. Ann Eliza Hyatt, b. in New York City, 23 Ap. 1822; died unmarried, 21 Feb. 1852, in Norwalk, Conn., and was buried in Norwalk Cemetery.
1904 IV. William Francis Hyatt, b. in New York City, 2 Aug. 1824; a dealer in hardware, of the firm of Hyatt and Spencer, 54 Beekman Street, New York, in Nov. 1874; married in New York, 1 Sept. 1852, Emeline Matilda Ogden, b. in New York City, 19 Aug. 1830, dau. of Joseph and Emeline (Pinckney) Ogden, of New York. She died in Brooklyn, N. Y., 6 Dec. 1865. He married (2d), at New York, 5 May 1867, Julia Selina Merrill, born in Grand Street, New York, 16 Sept. 1836, dau. of Charles and Nancy (Whitney) Merrill, of New York. He lived in Willoughby Avenue, near Throop Avenue, Brooklyn, N. Y, in 1867. In 1874, his home was Stanley, N. J. 6120
