Seventh Generation.
born in Ellisburgh, N. Y., 22 Aug. 1820, son of Edmond and Charlotte Taylor (Dickerson) Ingalls.1 They settled in Henderson, half a mile from her father's house; and dwelt there till 1 Sept. 1848, during which period he followed the sea. They then moved to Concord, Wis., where he became a farmer. He died at Concord, 28 Ap. 1851, and was buried in the Central Cemetery. She was married (2d), 22 March 1852, in Farmington, Wis., by Charles Bell, Esq., to Archibald Vorce, a blacksmith, who was born in Coxsackie, N. Y., 14 Feb. 1808, son of Sylvester and Eleanor (Baker) Vorce, who afterward moved to Jefferson Co., N. Y. They lived in Concord till 24 May 1873, and then moved to Tomah, Wis., where they were living in July 1874.
2365 VIII. Betsey Alphreda Whitney, b. in Henderson, N. Y., 27 Sept 1826; married there, 4 Jan. 1844, Samuel Hungerford Nutting, a carpenter, joiner, and farmer, son of William and Mary (Matteson) Nutting, of Henderson, where he was born 12 Oct. 1821. They settled in Henderson, and were living there in Ap. 1875. 7095
2366 IX. Fanny Ackley Whitney, b. in Henderson, N. Y., 21 Jan. 1828; married, 4 July 1848, in Ellisburgh, N. Y., by Rev. O. C. Lathrop, Methodist, to Stevenson Edmond Ingalls, a farmer, of Henderson, born in Houndsfield, N. Y., 26 June 1828, son of Edmond and Charlotte Taylor (Dickerson) Ingalls.1 They moved in 1850 to Concord, Wis., and lived there till 1874, when they removed to Sinclair, Kansas. He has been, for more than twenty years, an efficient and esteemed member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and Sunday School. 7100
2367 X. Eveline Whitney, b. in Henderson, N. Y., 14 June 1832; married there, 10 Jan. 1850, by Rev. Luther Rice, Universalist, to Charles Sias, of Henderson, a cooper, ship-carpenter and mariner, who was born in Ellisburgh, N. Y., 1 Dec. 1827, son of Jeremiah and Lucy (Colvin) Sias. They settled in Henderson, and were living there in 1874. 7104

2368 I. Cyril Flint Snow, b. in Henderson, N. Y., 31 May 1809; a farmer; married, about May 1851, at her father's house in New Haven, N. Y., Maria Lindsley, dau. of Almon and Ann Lindsley. They were living in Palermo, N. Y., in 1874. 7107
  1 Edmond Ingalls was born in Cooperstown, N. Y., 12 Ap. 1782; married Charlotte Taylor Dickerson, who was born in Orleans, N. Y., 5 June 1798. They lived, for many years, in Ellisburgh and Henderson, N. Y. He died 6 Aug. 1854.
