Solomon Whitney, son of Nathaniel

Your lineage shows that you think your Solomon Whitney who married Sybil (Arms) Goodenow may have been son of Nathaniel⁶ and Mary (Houghton) Whitney. That this is correct is confirmed by two sources: Archive:The History of the Town of Marlborough, Vermont, and Archive:The Descendants of John Whitney, page 136. I see no reason not to make this connection.
