7042 I. Esther Whitney, b. in Ellisburgh, N. Y., 4 June 1833; died there, 28 May 1841, and was buried in the Reed Cemetery.
7043 II. Mary Louisa Whitney, b. in Ellisburgh, N. Y., 6 June 1835; married in 1854, at Henderson, N. Y., Livingston Stevens, a farmer, who was born in Henderson, son of Charles and Abby (Edmonds) Stevens. They lived in Ellisburgh; then in Watertown, Wisconsin; and again in Ellisburgh. 14687
7044 III. Knight Dexter Whitney, b. in Ellisburgh, N. Y., 7 Sept. 1837; unmarried; enlisted at Belleville, in Ellisburgh, 9 May 1861, in Co. K, 24th Reg., N. Y. S. Vol. Infantry; was shot through the right lung, 14 Sept. 1862, in the battle of South Mountain, Va.; died of the wound, 22 Oct. 1862, at the Emory General Hospital, in Washington, D. C.; and was buried the next day, in the Soldiers' Cemetery in Washington.
7045 IV. Clark Whitney, b. in Ellisburgh, N. Y., 10 June 1840; a locomotive-engineer; married, in 1873, Maria Aldrich. They lived in Lansing, Michigan, in 1874, without children. He served in the Union army during the war of 1861, for three years (first in Co. K, 24th Reg., N. Y. S. Vol. Infantry), and was transferred to the 86th Reg., N. Y. S. Volunteers, before his discharge.

7046 V. Charles Ostrom Whitney, b. in Ellisburgh, N. Y., 12 Jan. 1845; died 20 Feb. 1845, and was buried in the Reed Cemetery, Ellisburgh.
7047 VI. Hannah Elizabeth Whitney, b. in Ellisburgh, N. Y., 8 Aug. 1846; died in Ellisburgh, 13 June 1853, and was buried in the Reed Cemetery.
7048 VII. Dorcas Flavilla Whitney, b. in Ellisburgh, N. Y., 9 March 1848; and lived there, with her parents, unmarried, in 1874.
7049 VIII. Ada Rosavilla Whitney, b. in Ellisburgh, N. Y., 5 Ap. 1850; died there, 29 May 1858, and was buried in the Reed Cemetery.
7050 IX. George Washington Adelbert Whitney, b. in Ellisburgh, N. Y., 14 May 1856; and lived there, with his parents, in 1874.
