Daniel Keeler, b. in Ridgefield, Conn., 19 Sept 1770; a farmer; married, 1 Jan. 1792, at Ridgefield, Grace Dauchy, born in Ridgefield, 8 Sept. 1773, dau. of John and Anna (Smith) Dauchy, and g. dau. of Thomas and Adah (Hoyt) Smith. They settled on West Mountain, in Ridgefield, and there died (he, 28 Ap. 1832, aged 61 years, though the town-record says, 29 Ap. 1832, in his 62d year; she, 15 Aug. 1849, aged 76 years), and were buried in Titicus Cemetery.
