married, 20 Oct. 1818, Ruth Young, dau. of Joel Young. They settled at Prince William, and there died; she, 29 June 1865, aged 66 years; he, not long before 1871.

1675 I. Abraham Hoyt, b. at South Salem; now Lewisboro', N. Y., about Feb. 1782; a farmer; married Mary Smith, dau. of John and Catharine (Manchester) Smith, of Wilton (Nod District), Conn., where she was born in Nov. 1777. They dwelt in South Salem, within a few feet of the State line, next to North Wilton, Conn.; and there they died (he, 1 July 1848, aged 66 years, and 4 months; she, 20 March 1859, aged 81 years, and 4 months), and were buried in a private cemetery on his father's farm, in North Wilton, near the State line. 5516

Hannah Hoyt, b. at South Salem, N.Y., 31 March 1784; married, 8 Oct 1806, at South Salem, Uriah Gregory, a farmer, son of Isaac and Sarah (St. John) Gregory, of Wilton, Conn., where he was born, 22 July 1778. They settled in South Salem, and died there (he, 21 Oct. 1835; she, 15 May 1853, aged 69 years, 1 month, and 15 days), and were buried in the Hoyt Cemetery, in North Wilton. 5526
1677 III. Aaron Hoyt, was living at New Canaan, Conn., in 1870; died before 1875. 5530
1678 IV. Isaac Hoyt, b. at South Salem, N. Y., about 1789; a farmer; married Anna Hoyt, dau. of Rice and Theodosia (Dibble) Hoyt,1 of South Salem, where she was born 13 March 1790. They settled in South Salem, now Lewisboro', where he died in 1865. 5531
1679 V. Azor Hoyt, twin, b. at South Salem, N. Y., 11 Ap. 1791; a blacksmith; married Ruth Benedict,2 dau. of Timothy and Phebe (Rockwell) Benedict, of North Salem, N. Y., where she was born 11 March 1795; removed, in 1815, to Onondaga, N. Y., and thence to West Monroe, N. Y., where she died, 18 Oct 1864, and where he was living in 1871. 5541
1680 VI. Moses Hoyt, twin, b. at South Salem, N. Y., 11 Ap. 1791; married Hannah Robinson; settled, in 1815, at Onondaga, N. Y., and thence moved to West Monroe, N. Y., where they were living in 1871. 5547
