1802 I. Lewis Riggs, b. in Norfolk, Conn., 23 Jan. 1808; a physician; graduated in medicine, at Yale College, 1830; married, 4 July 1838, in Fabius, N. Y., Eliza Ann Clark, dau. of William and Clarissa (Webster) Clark, of Cazenovia, N. Y. She was born in Fabius, 23 Feb. 1816. They settled in Franklinville, N. Y.; and there he died, 17 Dec. 1862, and was buried. She was living there in Jan. 1875. 5834
1803 II. Laura Riggs, b. in Norfolk, Conn., 1 Oct 1811; died, 22 Aug. 1813, at Norfolk, and was buried there.
1804 III. Hiram Harmon Riggs, b. in Norfolk, Conn., 27 Nov. 1813; a farmer; married, 9 March 1836, at Norfolk, by Rev. Joseph Eldridge, Congregational, to Mary Ann Kilbourn, of New Hartford, Conn., where she was born 21 July 1816. They settled in Norfolk, where she died, 2 July 1843, and was buried. He was married (2d), 11 Dec. 1843, at Norfolk, by Rev. Joseph Eldridge, to Marilla Kilbourn; and they were living there in Jan. 1875. 5844
1805 IV. Miles Riggs, b. in Norfolk, Conn., 17 March 1819; a farmer; married, 16 Ap. 1845, in Canaan, Conn., by Rev. Joseph Eldridge, D. D., pastor of the Congregational Church in Norfolk, to Esther Potter, dau. of Christopher Champlin and Esther Bradford (Smith) Potter, of Canaan. She was horn in Goshen, Conn., 29 Ap. 1825. They settled in Norfolk, and were living there, in Jan. 1875. He represented his town in the Legislature of Conn., in 1872. 5847

1806 I. Caroline Riggs, b. in Vernon, N. Y., 2 Ap. 1816; married, 3 June 1840, at Homer, N. Y., Augustus Miles Ives, an iron-founder and dealer in produce, son of Jesse and Polly (Miles) Ives, of Homer, where he was born 21 Oct 1817. They settled at Medina, N. Y., and were living there in Ap. 1875. 5849
1807 II. Mary Abigail Riggs, b. in Vernon, N. Y., 18 Ap. 1818; died, 18 Oct 1832, in Homer, N. Y., and was buried there.
1808 III. Lavancia Riggs, b. in Homer, N. Y., 25 March 1820; married, 25 May 1845, at Homer, Thomas E. Kelsey, son of Thomas E. Kelsey, of Homer. She died, 21 Ap. 1866, at Homer, and was buried there. He was a teacher of mathematics at Cortland Academy, Homer, for several 5852
