He married (2d), 25 May 1845, at Livingston, Melinda Jane Lawler, who was born in Madison Co., Ala., 3 July 1817, and died 3 Jan. 1849. He married (3d), 3 Oct. 1850, Caroline Virginia Farish, who was born in Green Co., Ala., 13 March 1830. They settled at Livingston, and moved to Enterprise, Miss., and thence, in 1874, to Fort Worth, Texas, where they were living in Ap. 1875.

Henry Croswell, D.D., to Frances Augusta O'Neill, born at Bridgeport, Conn., 3 March 1828, dau. of Charles and Marina (Sage) O'Neill, and g. dau. of John Clark and Lois (Richards1) Sage. He died, 18 Oct. 1866, at Stratford, and was buried there, in the Episcopal Cemetery. She was living in Oct. 1874.
