Y., Leander Delos Brown, a lawyer, son of Samuel and ----- (Babcock) Brown, of Burlington, N. Y., where he was born 4 Nov. 1819. They dwelt a Chicago, Ill., for two years; at Utica, N. Y., five years; and then settled at Schuyler's Lake, N. Y., where she was living in Feb. 1874. He died, 27 March 1866, at Schuyler's take, and was buried there.

Y., 16 Dec. 1835; married, 5 Sept. 1854, in Greenfield, Mich., Gustavus Schiffer, a wholesale hardware-merchant, born in Westphalia, Prussia, son of Augustus and Wilhelmina (Van Laak) Schiffer. They dwelt in Chicago, Ill., for six years; in Burlington, Iowa, for six years; and then moved to New York City. They were living at 17 Elliott Place, Brooklyn, L. I., in Feb. 1874.
