2314 III. Aramantha McDorman Wright, b. in Manlius, N. Y.) 25 March 1810; married, 27 Sept. 1830, at Ellisburgh, N. Y., Allen Whitney, son of John and Patty (Chase) Whitney. See the account of him for the remainder of her record. 7036

2315 IV. Josiah Wright, b. in Manlius, N. Y., 14 Aug. 1812; died in Manlius, 13 Sept. 1812, and was buried there.
2316 V. Betsey Whitney Wright, b. in Manlius, N. Y., 2 Jan. 1814; married, 18 Sept. 1831, in Ellisburgh, N. Y., Erasmus Darwin Finney, who was born in Henderson, N. Y., son of Zenas Finney, and g. son of Sylvester and Rebecca (Rice) Finney. They settled at Sacket's Harbor, N. Y.; and moved, in 1846, to Oshkosh, Wis., where she died, 17 May 1845, and was buried. He died at Menasha, Wis., in Ap. 1859, and was buried there. 6976
2317 VI. Emeline Theresa Wright, b. at Fleming, N. Y., 25 Aug. 1816; married, 8 March, 1838, at Oshkosh, Wis., Joseph Jackson, an architect, born in Ireland, son of Robert and Anna (Stewart) Jackson. They dwelt at Green Bay, Wis., for four years; at Southport, Wis., one year; at Milwaukee, Wis., one year; and then settled at Oshkosh, Wis., where they were living in March 1875. He has been, for three terms, mayor of the City of Oshkosh; city-marshal and chief of police, for fifteen years; and treasurer of the State Land Office. 6979
2318 VII. William Wallace Wright, b. at Fleming, N. Y., 7 July 1819; a farmer; settled in Oshkosh, Wis., where he was married, 23 July 1843, by Rev. Cutting Marsh, Presbyterian, to Mary Elizabeth Evans, born in Parkman, Ohio, 29 Feb. 1824, dau. of Daniel and Mary (Need) Evans. He was living on his "Lakeside Farm", adjoining Oshkosh, in 1874; having been, for thirty-one years, a member of the M. E. Church of that city, and, most of that time, a trustee, class-leader, and chorister, besides holding several town and county offices. 6987
2319 VIII. Philip Van Rensselaer Wright, b. at Fleming, N. Y., 23 Dec. 1823; a mill-owner; married, 1 July 1849, at Oshkosh, Wis., Hannah Drake Coffin, dau. of William and Nancy (Marston) Coffin, of Deerfield, N. H., where she was born about 1828. They dwelt at Oshkosh till 1875; and then settled at San Buenaventura, Cal., where they were living in June 1877. 6998
