10 Feb. 1817, dau. of Amos and Rebecca (Sherman) Phillips.1 She died at Palmyra, 20 Feb. 1857, and was buried in a cemetery, one mile from there. He was married (2d), 6 Oct. 1859, at the house of Richard Harris Whitney, in Adrian, Mich., by Rev. James Clark, Baptist, to Alla Tenbrook, who was born in Horseheads, N. Y., 27 Nov. 1826, dau. of Garret and Hannah (Gannon) Tenbrook, the latter dwelling in Madison, Mich., at the time of her marriage. They lived on the homestead, at Palmyra, in Jan. 1875.
2589 II. Harriet Tooker, b. in Shelby, N. Y., 9 July 1818; married in Palmyra, Mich., 27 June 1841, David Belknap, a farmer, born in West Leyden, N. Y., 14 Ap. 1816, son of Joseph, Jr., and Parnal (Davis) Belknap, who settled in Michigan in 1830. They dwelt in Adrian, Mich., for two years, till 8 Ap. 1844; then lived in Wright, Mich., for fifteen years; and returned, 16 Ap. 1859, to Adrian, where they resided in Jan. 1875. 7680
2590 III. Perry Reeves Tooker, b. in Shelby, N. Y., 29 July 1820; a carpenter; died unmarried, at Buffalo, N. Y., 24 Nov. 1860; and was buried in Palmyra, Mich., one mile south of his father's homestead.
2591 IV. Julia Ett Tooker, b. in Shelby, N. Y., 16 July 1822; resided in Jackson, Ohio, in 1854; in Philadelphia, Penn., in 1855-6; in Manchester, N. H., 1857-8; in New York City, 1859-60; and, since, in Adrian, Mich. She was married, 23 May 1871, at Detroit, Mich., by Rev. W. Hogarth, Presbyterian, to Levi Vanderburg, an agent for life-insurance, who was born in Canada, 19 June 1827, son of Stephen and Elizabeth (Merwin) Vanderburg. He graduated at the University of Victoria, Canada. They have no children.
2592 V. Eveline Greenleaf Tooker, b. in Shelby, N. Y., 22 Oct. 1824; married at her father's house in Palmyra, Mich., 6 Dec. 1844, by Rev. Anson Tucker, Baptist, to Elisha Green Budlong, a carpenter and joiner, who was born in Providence, R. I., 27 Jan. 1814. They settled in Adrian, Mich., where he died 1 Ap. 1862, and was buried in Oakwood Cemetery. She was living at Adrian in Jan. 1875. 7689
2593 VI. Ann Hazletine Tooker, twin, b. in Shelby, N. Y., 29 Aug. 1829; married at Palmyra, Mich., 6 Jan. 1849, Anthony Wayne Corbet, a railway-engineer, born in Chautauqua Co., N. Y., 16 Ap. 1824, son of Ziba and Emma (Noble) Corbet, the latter dwelling in Palmyra at the time of his marriage. They lived, for twenty years, in Monroe, Mich.; and 7692
  1 Amos Phillips moved with his family to Macedon, N. Y., and died there. His widow married, as his third wife, Reuben Tooker, the father of Ira Tooker.
