Seventh Generation.
ornamental plasterer; married at Putnam Valley, N. Y., 2 Feb. 1859, by Rev. Edwin R. Keyes, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church in Shrub Oak, N. Y., to Mary Jane Nelson, dau. of James and Sarah (Conklin) Nelson, of Putnam Valley, where she was born 13 Sept. 1836. He dwelt at Peekskill, N. Y., from 1848 to 1 May 1860; and then settled at South Norwalk, Conn., where they were living in June 1877.

2639 I. Seth Saxton, b. at Paris, N. Y., about 1795; and was living there, with his mother, in 1797.

2640 II. Patty Knight, married ----- Adams, and settled at New Haven, N. Y.

2641 I. Jeremiah Chase, died in Champion, N. Y., unmarried.
2642 II. Louisa Chase, married Enos Knight, a blacksmith, whose first wife was her aunt, Esther Chase. They dwelt in Utica, N. Y. 753
2643 III. Richard Chase, a farmer, married Minerva Wood; and settled near Boonville, N. Y. They had a son and daughter, concerning whom we have no information.
2644 IV. Clark Chase, b. in Champion, N. Y.; a stage-driver on a route beginning at Montreal, Canada; fell down stairs and broke his neck; unmarried.
