2761 X. Sarah Ann Lobdell, b. in North Salem, N. Y., 27 Aug. 1829; a teacher; died in Yorktown, N. Y., 3 Nov. 1860, unmarried, and was buried in the North Salem Cemetery. "Her cheerfulness and sincerity, her true and deep affection, made her the joy and life or the family circle, and the welcome companion or her numerous friends. For more than ten years she professed her attachment to the Saviour, and this profession she adorned by a holy and exemplary life, and by an earnest activity and self-denial in His service."
2762 XI. William Townsend Lobdell, b. in North Salem, N. Y., 16 Dec. 1831; a mason, builder and contractor; married, 31 Dec. 1861, at White Plains, N. Y., by Rev. David Teese, Presbyterian, to Emma Jenkins, dau. of John Flavel and Mary Ann Thayer (Pike) Jenkins, of White Plains, formerly of Middletown, N. J., where she was born, 4 Feb. 1832. They dwelt at Salem Centre, N. Y., from Ap. 1863 till March 1866; at Scranton, Penn., till Dec. 1866; settled at Port Chester, N. Y., in Ap. 1867, and were living there in Ap. 1875, without children.
2763 XII. Julia Eliza Lobdell, b. in North Salem, N. Y., 24 Dec. 1833; married at North Salem, 26 Nov. 1861, Elijah Lee, a farmer, son of Robert Perine and Elizabeth (Lee) Lee, of Yorktown, N. Y., where he was born, 7 Dec. 1824. They settled in Yorktown, and were living there in March 1875. He was a member of the Assembly of the State of New York, from the First District of Westchester County, in 1854. 7980
2764 XIII. Alexander Frazier Lobdell, b. in North Salem, N. Y., 5 Dec. 1835; a merchant; married at Southeast, N. Y., 6 Sept 1865, Julia Paddock. dau. or Isaac Vincent and Aurelia (Waring) Paddock, of Southeast, N. Y., formerly of Yonkers, N. Y., where she was born 10 Aug. 1843. He spent two years in New York City, as a clerk; and, in 1860, began a business at Brewster's Station, which he was still successfully conducting in May 1875; and had held the office of postmaster in that place since 1863. 7986
2765 XIV. Almira Jeannette Lobdell, b. in North Salem, N. Y., 5 Dec. 1837; spent one year at Yorktown, N. Y., and three years at Peekskill, N. Y., teaching in the public schools; married at Peekskill, 25 Oct. 1869, Francis Henderson Greene, an accountant, of Orangeburgh Court House, S. C., son of Peter and Sarah (Voght) Greene, of Peekskill, where he was born, 19 Ap. 3842. They settled at Orangeburgh; arid moved to Brewster's Station, N. Y., where they were living in May 1875--he being secretary and book-keeper or Borden's Condensed Milk Company at that place. 7988
