2825 II. Elizabeth Foster, b. in Ridgefield, Conn., 15 May 1824; married there, 28 Ap. 1845, Martin W. Bassett, son of John and Charlotte (Bugbee) Bassett, of Bedford, N. Y. They settled in Ridgefield, where he died 15 Aug. 1868. She lived in Danbury, Conn., in Feb. 1874. 8083
2826 III. Francis Ebenezer Foster, b. in Ridgefield, Conn., 7 March 1826; a farmer and millwright; married at Reading, Conn., 4 Dec. 1852, Harriet Platt, dau. of David and Elizabeth (Keeler) Platt, of Reading. They settled at West Reading, and were living there, without children, in Jan. 1874.

2827 IV. Susan Maria Foster, b. in Ridgefield, Conn., 7 Jan. 1828; married there, 1 Oct. 1851, John Jay Jarvis, of North Salem, N. Y., a farmer, son of James and Lucy (Platt) Jarvis. They settled in Ridgefield, and were living there in March 1875. He enlisted at Ridgefield, 11 Aug. 1862, in Co. G, 17th Reg., Conn. Vol. Infantry, and was discharged in June 1865. 8085
2828 V. Esther Ann Foster, b. in Ridgefield, Conn., 23 March 1830; married there, 4 Oct 1852, Samuel Northrop, son of Amos and Sarah (Osborn) Northrop, of South Salem, N. Y., where he was born 4 Oct 1819. They settled in South Salem, where he died, without children, 22 Nov. 1857, and was buried. She married (2d), 25 Feb. 1867, at Danbury, Conn., Benjamin Franklin Ryder, son of Stephen and Mary (Nichols) Ryder, of Southeast, N. Y., where he was born 20 Jan. 1831. They were living at 149 East 44th Street, New York, in Feb. 1874. 8087
