4646 VIII. Daniel Smith Mapes, b. at 110 Ludlow Street, New York City, 30 Aug. 1833; a truckman and forwarding agent; married at 261 Division Street, N. Y., 18 Ap. 1864, Mary Almira Dunbar, dau. of Moses and Jane (King). Dunbar, of New York. She was born 2 Aug. 1833, at 49 Christie Street, New York. They dwelt at 99 East 28th Street, New York, from May 1864 till May 1865; at 143 East 27th Street, New York, till May 1867; at 54 Eldridge Street, New York, till 15 Ap. 1870; at 111 Henry, near Pike Street, New York, till May 1873; at 181 Henry Street, till 26 March 1875; and then settled at 106 Herkimer Street, Brooklyn, N. Y., where they were living in Ap. 1876. He was then an active member of the 5th Co., 7th Reg., N. G. S. N. Y.; and had served forty days in Washington, D. C., from 28 Ap. 1861; three months at Fort Federal Hill, Baltimore, Md., in 1862, as corporal; and several days during the New York riots in July 1863. 12008

Frederick Augustus Hoyt, b. at New York City, 7 Jan. 1821; a dealer in clothing; married in New York, 29 Feb. 1844, Emeline Smith, born in Stamford, Conn. dau. of Israel and Emeline (Scofield) Smith. They dwelt in New York till 1844; and then settled in Philadelphia, Penn., where they were living in March 1876. 12011
4650 IV. Albert Maurice Hoyt, b. at Darien, Conn. 12 Aug. 1823 a farmer; married at Warwick, N. Y., 27 Jan. 1847, by Rev. Ferdinand H. Vanderver, Reformed Dutch, to Erminda Oldfleld Hoyt, dau. of James and Lydia (Leeds) Hoyt, of Warwick, where she was born 1 March 1824.1 They settled at Warwick, arid were living there in March 1876. 12013
