V. Harriet Whitney, b. at Kensico, in North Castle, N. Y., 5 Feb. 1845; married there, in 1863, by Rev. Mr. Amerman, Methodist, to John Shaughnessy. He enlisted, 21 May 1861, in Co. A, 27th Reg., N. Y. S. Volunteers; and was discharged at Elmira, N. Y., 21 May 1863. They lived at Newburgh, N. Y., in 1874.

IV. Maria Louisa Montross, b. at Yorktown, N. Y., 26 Aug. 1833; married there, 17 Oct. 1855, Constant White,1 a farmer, son of Lewis and Aurelia (Raymond) White, of Yorktown, where he was born 18 March 1824, and adopted son of Dr. Henry and Mary (Belcher) White. They settled in Yorktown, about a quarter of a mile north of the Crompond Presbyterian Church, and were living there in 1874.
