V. Anna Elizabeth Abbott, b. at Pequannock, N. J., 17 May 1816; married at Busti, N. Y., 8 May 1836, Giles Theodore Gill, a painter, son of John Johnson and Susanna (Palmeter) Gill, of Busti since 1817, formerly of Herkimer village, N. Y., where he was born 19 Oct. 1810. They dwelt at Busti till Dec. 1845; at Sugar Grove, Penn., till May 1854; at Busti again, till May 1864; and then moved to Toulon, Ill., where they were living in July 1875.

VI. Jeremiah Whitney Abbott, b. in Morris Co., N. J., IS Feb. 1819; a farmer and mechanic; married, in Oct. 1843, Mary Eleanor Lopies, dau. of Isaac and Roxana (Gibson) Lopies, of Ellery N. Y. They settled in Busti, N. Y., where she died in 1849. He married (2d), Martha Southwick. They dwelt at Battle Creek, Mich., for ten years; in Richardson Co., Net., three years; and were living at Neodesha, Kansas, in Feb. 1876.
