to George Henry Warren,1 a lawyer, born at 35 Third St., Troy, N. Y., 18 Nov. 1823, son of Nathan and Mary (Bouton) Warren. He graduated at Union College, N. Y., in 1843. They resided at 145 Madison Ave., New York, in Sept. 1877, spending the Summer months at their country-seat on Ida Hill, Troy.
5268 III. Phillips Phoenix, b. at 18 State St., New York, 23 March 1834; graduated at Harvard Law-School, Cambridge, Mass., in 1854; is a lawyer, with office at 19 Cortlandt St., New York, and residence at 22 West 23d St., in Sept. 1877.

  2 He married (2d) in New York City, 26 Dec. 1866, Alice Whitten, dau. of William and Julia (French) Whitten, of 24 East 10th St., New York; and died at Aiken, S.C., 28 March 1872, of consumption. By this marriage he had two children:

    I. Alice Bronson, horn 16 Oct. 1867; died on the same day.
    II. Julia Ethel Bronson, horn 6 June 1870; resided with her mother, in New York, in Sept. 1877.
