Family:Whitney, Anna (1660-1701)

Anna3 Whitney (Jonathan2, John1), daughter of Jonathan2 and Lydia (Jones) Whitney,[1] was born 28 Apr 1660, Watertown, MA,[2] and died 6 Mar 1700/1, Wrentham, MA,[3] (probably in childbirth).

She married say 1690,[4] Cornelius Fisher, son of Cornelius and Leah (Heaton) Fisher. He was born 8 Feb 1659/60, Dedham, MA,[5] and died 6 Jun 1743, Wrentham, MA, in his 84th year.[6]

He married secondly, 29 Apr 1702, Dedham, MA, Mercy (Partridge) Colburn "of Dedham,"[7], daughter of George and Sarah (Tracy) Partridge, widow of Samuel Colburn of Dedham.[8] Her birth date and place are unknown. She died 20 Sep 1726, Wrentham, MA.[9]

Cornelius Fisher "Sr." married thirdly, 13 Feb 1726/7, Wrentham, MA, Mary (Wheelock) Ware,[10] daughter of Benjamin and Elizabeth (Bullen) Wheelock and widow of Nathaniel Ware[11]. She was born 11 Jun 1674, Medfield, MA.[12] She married thirdly, 16 Jul 1746, Wrentham, MA, Thomas Bacon,[13] and died 25 Mar 1750, Wrentham, MA[14].

They lived in Wrentham, MA.

Grandchildren Benjamin Fisher and Ann Fisher, under 18, were mentioned in the will of her father, Jonathan2 Whitney, dated 12 Jan 1701/2.[15]

Children of Cornelius and Mercy (Partridge)(Colburn) Fisher, both b. Wrentham, MA:[17]

vii. Mercy Fisher, b. 27 Jan 1703; d. 15 Nov 1754, Wrentham, MA; m. 27 Oct 1726, Wrentham, MA, Samuel Fisher.
viii. Esther Fisher, b. 27 Oct 1710; d. 20 May 1747, Wrentham, MA; m. 9 Dec 1731, Wrentham, MA, Richard Fisher.

Cornelius and Mary (Wheelock)(Ware) Fisher had no children.
