Welcome!
Welcome to the WRG web site! I see from your lineage that you descend from James Rix Whitney and his wife Mary "Polly" Holland. You may be interested to know that Mary was a descendant of John Howland, "Mayflower" passenger, 1620. See this page:
I can supply further details as you may wish, just ask.

Mary (Holland) Whitney's Ancestry
The marriage of James Rix Whitney and "Polly" Holland can be found here. Her lineage from John1 Howland of the Mayflower is as follows:
- John Howland (b1592-1672/3), m. Elizabeth Tilley (1607-1687)
- John Howland (1627-a1699), m. Mary Lee (c1632-a1693)
- Mary Howland (c1652-a1711), m. John Allyn (1646-a1715)
- Isaac Allyn (1679-1761), m. Lydia Leonard (c1710-a1799)
- Mary Allyn (1736-a1798), m. Joseph Holland (1733-b1780)
- Mary Holland (c1764-1814), m. James Rix Whitney (1760-1822)
This is all laid out in great detail in the book John Howland of the Mayflower, Volume 2, by Elizabeth Pearson White (Camden, ME: Picton Press, 1993). You should either buy a copy of the book or get photocopies of the following pages: 1-30, 44-52, 122-125. That will cover your direct line of ancestry. Of course there is more about the brothers and sisters of your ancestors, too, on additional pages: 31-43, 53-63, 121, 126-139. The information on pages 124 and 137 which specifically mentions James and Mary (Holland) Whitney has all been copied onto the web page I cited in my previous message.
If I can help further, please let me know.
