I have made some changes to your lineage listing to reflect how you connect to the families for whom we already have family group records. Feel free to jump in and make new family group records for your more recent Whitney ancestors.
Unfortunately, the ancestry of Henry Whitney, the immigrant, which has been published and spread widely, is false, and was fabricated in the 1870s by an unscrupulous genealogist. For proof, see a report by Thomas K. Butcher and an article by Paul C. Reed. That means that any connection to Turstin the Fleming cannot be supported at this time.
