Fennix and Happy Whitney, both of Phillips, May 18, 1821. Intention of marriage given 14 days prior to this date. I couldn't find a record of the intentions being filed, but that just means I couldn't find it. The Phillips, ME VR also contain a recording of the birth dates of George and Elizabeth Fennix and all of their nine children, including Samuel W. If these would be of any interest to Fennix researchers, I would be glad to share. The last record I can find of Samuel and Happy Fennix is is the 1870 US Census for Westbrook, Cumberland Co., Maine. They are listed as 71 and 69 years old respectively, and he is a lumberman, she keeps house. If anyone has a date and place of death for either, I would appreciate knowing.
