Charles Dennis7 Whitney (Barnard6, William Clark5, Henry4, Josiah3, John2, Henry1), son of Barnard6, was born 17 Mar 1833, Paterson, NJ, and died after May 1875.
He married, 10 Sep 1859, Paterson, NJ, Emma Jane McCall, daughter of William Dorsey and Sarah Jane (Groucher) McCall. She was born 28 Dec 1843, Hamburgh, NJ, and died after May 1875.
Phoenix says the following:
- ". . . a clerk . . . . He dwelt in Jersey City, N.J., from 1854 to 1862; and then moved to Paterson, where they were living in May 1875, at 69 Paterson Street."
