Joseph Hasting⁸ Whitney (Joseph⁷, Nathaniel⁶, Nathaniel⁵, Nathaniel⁴, Nathaniel³, John², John¹), son of Joseph⁷ and Polly (Stockwell) Whitney, was born 29 Mar 1803, Grafton, MA,^[1] and died 1 Jul 1892, Worcester, MA.

He married firstly, 12 Mar 1829, Grafton, MA, Damaris H. Rice.^[2] She was born 1807, and died 17 Mar 1833, Grafton, MA, aged 26 years.^[3]

He married secondly, 7 Jan 1834, Grafton, MA, Sarah Ingraham.^[4]

She resides in Worcester. He resided Grafton and Worcester, MA.
