Joseph Hasting8 Whitney (Joseph7, Nathaniel6, Nathaniel5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Joseph7 and Polly (Stockwell) Whitney, was born 29 Mar 1803, Grafton, MA,[1] and died 1 Jul 1892, Worcester, MA.
He married firstly, 12 Mar 1829, Grafton, MA, Damaris Holmes Rich,[2] daughter of Jacob Reed and Nancy (-----) Rich. She was born 10 Aug 1807, New Braintree, MA, and died 17 Mar 1833, Grafton, MA, aged 26 years.[3]
He married secondly, 7 Jan 1834, Grafton, MA, Sarah Ingraham,[4] probably daughter of Remember and Sally (Waite) Ingraham of Dudley, MA. She was born about 1810, Dudley, MA, and died 1889, Ashburnham, MA.
She resided in Worcester. He resided Grafton and Worcester, MA.
