Boylston Samuel8 Whitney (John7, Phinehas6 Whitney, Samuel5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of John7 and Sarah (Chapman) Whitney, was born 31 Mar 1831, Waterford, Washington County, OH, and died 21 Dec 1902, Muncie, Delaware County, IN, aged 66 years.

He married firstly, 8 Mar 1855, Delaware County, IN, Margaret Bush, daughter of Samuel Bush.

He married secondly, 9 Jun 1861, Delaware County, IN, Keziah W. Bush (sister of his first wife). She was born 5 May 1833, OH, and died 1 Sep 1897, Selma, Delaware County, IN.
