Alvah8 Whitney (Zimri7, John6, Zachariah5, John4, Joseph3, John2, John1), son of Zimri7 and Susanna (Sanderson) Whitney, was born 27 Jun 1808[1], and died 29 Sep 1870, Cambridge, MA, aged 62 years 3 months, drowned.[2]
He married, 26 Apr 1838, Caroline Geyer, daughter of Martin and Eunice (-----) Geyer. She was born 26 Dec 1811,[3] Friendship, ME, and died 8 Jul 1889, Cambridge, MA, aged 77 years 6 months, of cancer.[4]
He was a soap maker. He resided Boston and Cambridge, MA.
