Welcome to the Whitney Research Group website, and thank you for adding in your lineage. As I try to always do, I've looked up your Whitney ancestors in our database and have added links to your lineage to these pages, so you can quickly see what information we have on them. I noticed that our database did not show Andrew Whitney's father to have been Silas Whitney, as you had listed. I did see that the book [[Archive:Memoirs of Worcester County, Massachusetts, Volume II]] had the lineage as you had listed though. I changed your lineage to match what we have as Andrew's line, and I encourage you to investigate that line and compare it to your own. If you disagree, we can discuss further. I am going to ask our resident expert [[User:Rlward|Robert L. Ward]] to look at this again as well - perhaps he can shed more light.
