Chandler Briggs8 Whitney (James7, James6, Ezra5, James4, John3, Jonathan2, John1), son of James7 and Lavina (Lee) Whitney, was born 23 Jun 1843, Craftsbury, VT.
He married firstly, 10 Mar 1870, Harriett Cowles. She died 23 Apr 1875.
He married secondly, 21 Oct 1875, Clara G. Cowles.
