Oliver6 Whitney (Daniel5, Daniel4, Joseph3, Jonathan2, John1), son of Daniel5 and Sarah (-----) Whitney, was born 28 Jun 1789, Marlborough, NH,[1] and died 18 Mar 1866, Salisbury, VT.[2] He was buried West Salisbury, VT.
He married, 2 Apr 1809, Salisbury, VT,[3] Sarah Eggleston, daughter of Timothy and Lydia (Hall) Eggleston. She was born 24 Jul 1787, Croydon, NH,[4] and died 29 Oct 1830, Salisbury, VT.[5] She was buried West Salisbury, VT.
Oliver was a veteran of the war of 1812. He also resided for a time in Moira, Franklin Co., NY.
