Jonathan6 Whitney, Jr. ((prob.) Jonathan5, Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), probably son of Jonathan5 and Mary (Hendon) Whitney, was born say 1764, and died after 1813.

He married, 2 Dec 1790, Topsham, ME, Deborah Higgins ("Hegins" in marriage record), daughter of Barnabas and Abigail (Atwood) Higgins. She was born 8 Oct 1771, Wellfleet, MA, and died 1 Oct 1856, Lisbon, ME.
