Zabad⁷ Whitney (Jonathan⁶, Peter⁵, Josiah⁴, Josiah³, [prob.] Benjamin², John¹), son of Jonathan⁶ and Eunice (Story) Whitney, was born 10 Dec 1797, Tunbridge, VT, and died 18 Apr 1830, Tunbridge, VT.

He married, 22 Dec 1820, Royalton, VT, Sophia Dewey, daughter of Ebenezer and Jerusha (Kimball) Dewey. She was born 25 Apr 1796, Royalton, VT, and died 19 Nov 1870.

He was a farmer; is buried at Bethel, VT. He resided Royalton and Tunbridge, VT.
