Samuel⁷ Whitney (Silas⁶, Samuel⁵, William⁴, Nathaniel³, John², John¹), born May 20, 1783; married 12 Aug 1802, Abigail Wilder; born 3 Jan 1783; died 23 Oct 1861. He died May 9, 1837. He was an enterprizing and active man; resided Ashburnham, Massachusetts.

v.	Austin Whitney, born 21 Dec 1811; died 4 Sep 1814.
vi.	Chas. W. Whitney, born 10 Jan 1814; married Elmira M. Wilder.
vii.	Austin Whitney, born 16 Apr 1816; married E. Augusta Holmes.
viii.	Jane E. Whitney, born 7 Jul 1818; died 12 Nov 1847.
ix.	Samuel Whitney,V., born May 25,1820; married Sarah A. Russell.
x.	Quincy Whitney, born 7 Oct 1822; married Mandana M. Whittemore. 4108 1/2. vi. Horatio N., born 3 Oct 1824; married 1853, Mary Eliza Carlton. He died 18 Feb 1858, s.p.; farmer.
