Marriage banns were published 12 Sep 1765, Gorham, ME, for him and Jane McLellan "of Falmouth" "daughter of Brice [McLellan]".[2] He "of Gorham" married, 19 Sep 1765, Cape Elizabeth, ME, Jane McLellan[3], daughter of Brice McLellan or of Alexander and Anna McLellan of Falmouth (Cape Elizabeth), ME. She was born circa 1745, probably Falmouth, ME, and died 2 Apr 1833, Alfred, ME. She was also known as Jenny McLellan.

The children were born in Gorham, and Aaron's brother, Moses, also lived there in this period. Marriage may have taken place in Falmouth, for which there are no Whitney Extracts from the VR's as yet.
