Samuel Moray7 Whitney (Joseph6, Joseph5, Abel4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Joseph6 and Nancy (Hunter) Whitney, was born 16 June 1831, Lubec, ME (as "Samuel Stephen Whitney"),[1] and died 24 Dec 1865, Appalachicola, FL.[2]

He married, 6 Feb 1864, Topsham, ME, Georgie M. Robinson "of Pittston",[3] or "of Topsham" married, 17 Feb 1864, Pittston or Randolph, ME, Georgianna Mary Robinson.[4] She was born 1837, ME.[5]
