Williams7 Whitney (Eliab Turner6, Josiah5, John4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Eliab Turner6 and Lydia (Williams) Whitney, was born 30 Aug 1835, Newcastle, ME, and died 19 Jan 1898, Bath, ME. He is buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Bath, ME.

He married, 7 Jul 1859, Newcastle, ME, Rosalinda Harlow Merry, daughter of Hiram and Elizabeth (Trask) Merry. She was born 2 Jun 1839, Edgecomb, ME, and died 17 May 1913, Bath, ME. She is buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Bath, ME.

He resided Bath, ME, 136 Commercial St. He came to Bath in 1874.
