Jesse6 Whitney (Isaac5, Jason4, Mark3, Benjamin2, John1), born Middlesex, New York, 3 May 1808; married 1835, Eliza C. Shepherd, born 1819. He was a farmer. He died 11 Nov 1853; resided Macomb, Michigan.
Children of Jesse6 Whitney:
i. James Voak7 Whitney, born 4 Jan 1839; married Mary E. Taylor. ii. Horace Isaac Whitney, born 10 Jul 1836; married Minnie Preston and Mary Elizabeth. iii. Lewis Dodge Whitney, born 1845; died unmarried Jan., 1865, in Libby prison; was in the 8th Michigan. Cavalry. iv. Hannah H. O. Whitney, born 14 Nov 1847; married 23 May 1867, Luther Parker.
