He married 22 Jun 1824, Dayton, OH, Mary Henderson, daughter of Thomas and Margaret (Wilson) Henderson. She was born 7 Aug 1802, Concord, Washington Co., PA, and died 27 Aug 1877, White Willow, IL. She was buried in Aux Sable Cemetery, Minooka, IL.
