Eseck⁷ Whitney (Cornelius⁶, Cornelius⁵, Matthias⁴, Cornelius³, Joshua², John¹), son of Cornelius⁶ and Rhoda (Gould) Whitney, was born 29 Mar 1814, Oswego County, NY, and died 16 Mar 1876, Whitneyville, IA, aged 61 years 10 days.^[1]

He married, 28 Apr 1842, Pineville, NY, Nancy M. Barber.^[2] She was born 30 Apr 1820, and apparently died 27 Jan 1910, Massena, IA, aged 86 years 9 months 27 days.^[3]

Both are buried in Massena Cemetery, Massena, IA.

He resided Whitneyville, IA.
