Isaac6 Whitney (Daniel5, Daniel4, Jonathan3, Jonathan2, John1), son of Daniel5 and Katy (Stone) Whitney,[1] was born 17 Oct 1774, Shrewsbury, MA,[2] and died 17 Jan 1841, Saint Lawrence Co., NY.
He married Arrilla -----, parentage unknown. She was born ca. 1778, and died 30 Nov 1827, Saint Lawrence Co., NY.
Children of Isaac6 and Arvilla (-----) Whitney (based on a census reconstruction, possibly incomplete).
i. (son) Whitney, b. 1805-1810. This was possibly Hiram Whitney, b. 1800-1810, listed in the 1840 census in Lisbon, NY. ii. (son) Whitney, b. 1805-1810. This was possibly Russell G. Whitney, b. 1800-1810, listed in the 1840 census in Lisbon, NY. iii. (son) Whitney, b. 1805-1810. iv. (daughter) Whitney, b. 1805-1810. v. (son) Whitney, b. 1810-1820. This was possibly William P. Notes
There is confusion between him and Family:Whitney, Isaac (1775-1841). There may be just one, rather than two individuals. This man is preferred because of his association in Madrid, NY, with his brothers. The other man is preferred because of his marriage and 1800 census in Stamford, VT, with the latter's father.
