He married firstly, Nancy Edwards, daughter of Eli and Hannah (Wisley) Edwards. She was born 1795, Pownal, VT, and died about 1838.

He married secondly, 19 Aug 1838, Delaware Co., OH, Eliza Swallow. She was born about 1815, Luzerne Co., PA, and died 1909, Sunbury, OH.

He was a farmer, and resided Trenton, Delaware Co., OH.
