Heman Whitney, parentage unknown, was born circa 1774, Plainfield, CT, and died after 1820.
He married, 17 Apr 1797, Stillwater, NY, Huldah Spalding, daughter of Joseph and Huldah (Hubbard) Spalding. She was born 9 Apr 1776, and died 22 Jan 1873, Fredonia, MI, aged 96 years 3 months 17 days.[sic] She is buried in the Houston Cemetery, Marshall, Calhoun Co., MI.[1] Her gravestone
He was a carpenter.[2]
His wife Huldah was admitted to full communion, 31 Jul 1814, Canaan, CT.[3]
