George A.8 Whitney (John7, John6, Zachariah5, John4, Joseph3, John2, John1), son of John7 and Sophia (Faulkner) Whitney; born 1837; married Dec 1861, Mattie A. Colburn, born -----; died 29 Mar 1867; married 2d, 1 Sep 1869, Susie R. Converse; resided Rindge, New Hampshire, and Wadena, Minnesota.
