Nathan Whitney (Charles), son of Charles and Polly (Heywood) Whitney, was born 1800, Barretston Plantation, ME, and died Jun 1870, Appleton, ME, aged 69 of consumption.[1]

He married, 1831, Hope, ME, Clarissa Knowlton. She was born about 1811, ME, and died after 1870.

Children of Nathan and Clarissa (Knowlton) Whitney, if any, unknown, although the 1840 census suggests a daughter born 1835-1840.
