William Fiske⁸ Whitney (William⁷, Phinehas⁶, William⁵, William⁴, Nathaniel³, John², John¹), son of William⁷ and Elizabeth (Fiske) Whitney, was born 19 May 1803,^[1] Shirley, MA, and died 21 Jan 1868, Boston, MA.

He married, 17 Jan 1827, Frances Ann Rice. She was born 22 Mar 1808,^[2] and died 30 Oct 1867.

He resided Boston, MA. The family were buried in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, MA.
