He married firstly, 28 Mar 1842, Lake Co., OH, Emily Granger. She was born about 1821, NY, and died between 1850 and 1855.

He married secondly, before 1855, Sarah E. -----. She was born about 1816 or 1820, MA or NY, and died after 1870. She was probably the Emma Whitney buried 3 Jul 1878, Woodland Cemetery, Cleveland, OH, aged 57 years, who died of umbilical hemorrhage.

He resided Willoughby, Painesville, and Mayfield, OH.
