Levi7 Whitney (Asa6, Levi5, Daniel4, Jonathan3, Jonathan2, John1), son of Asa6 and Mary (Wallis) Whitney, was born 19 Mar 1802, Townsend, MA, and died Dec 1879, Cleveland, OH, aged 78 years, of consumption.[1] He was buried 19 Dec 1879, Woodland Cemetery, Cleveland, OH.
He married firstly, 28 Mar 1842, Lake Co., OH, Emily Granger. She was born about 1821, NY, and died between 1850 and 1855.
He married secondly, before 1855, Sarah E. -----. She was born about 1816 or 1820, MA or NY, and died after 1870. She was probably the Emma Whitney buried 3 Jul 1878, Woodland Cemetery, Cleveland, OH, aged 57 years, who died of umbilical hemorrhage.
He resided Willoughby, Painesville, and Mayfield, OH.
The following family came to the Lake County Infirmary on 31 Oct 1855:[2]

- Daughter Francis Whitney Aged 2 years all Native Born from Painesville Township received Oct 31 1855 by Directors Orders.
On 13 Sep 1856, Levy Whitney & family left the infirmary to provide for themselves.
