Warren6 Whitney (Samuel5, Matthias4, Cornelius3, Joshua2, John1), son of Samuel5 and Tabitha (Warren) Whitney, was born 5 Dec 1805, Eastford, CT, and died 7 Sep 1885, Eastford, CT, aged 79 years 9 months. He was buried in Grove Cemetery, Eastford, CT.[1]

He married firstly, 24 Oct 1824, Ashford, CT, Diana R. Johnson,[2] daughter of William Johnson. She was born 25 May 1802, Ashford, CT, and died 17 July 1872, Ashford, CT, aged 69 years. She was buried in Grove Cemetery, Eastford, CT.[3]

He married secondly, before 1880, Sarah E. -----. She was born about 1834, RI, and died after 1880.

He resided Eastford, CT.
