William8 Whitney (Jeremiah7, Jeremiah6, (poss.) John5, (poss.) Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Jeremiah7, was born 8 Jun 1819, Weld, ME, and died after 1880.
He married firstly, 27 Nov 1848, Carthage, ME, Mary Ann Whitney (parentage not yet known). She was born aboutt 1826, ME, and died between 1860 and 1866.
He married secondly, 26 Feb 1866, Weld, ME, Susan (Berry) Goding, daughter of Ellet and Betsey (-----) Berry. She was born about 1835, ME, and died after 1880. She had married firstly, 29 Jan 1856, Phillips, ME, Martin Goding.
