Jacob A.8 Whitney (Jacob A.7, Jeremiah6, (poss.) John5, (poss.) Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Jacob A.7 and Rhoda Dale (Hutchinson) Whitney, was born 11 Sep 1838, ME, and died 30 Mar 1876, Carthage, ME, aged 37 years 6 months 19 days.
He married, 26 Nov 1868, Weld, ME, Elvira N. Parker. She was born about 1845, ME, and died after 1891. She "Mrs." married secondly, 6 Dec 1891, Peru, ME, "Mr." Everitt Simms "both of Dixfield".[1]
